PADI Open Water Course

PLEASE NOTE: Any SCUBA activity occurring in the open sea is especially subject to weather conditions. Dives may be postponed at the Instructor’s discretion if conditions are unfavourable, e.g.;

  • high winds
  • large swell / waves
  • strong currents
  • poor visibility (especially from preceding weather events)

If you’ve always wanted to experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts.

This 3 day course includes theory, pool and open water dives and will certify you to dive to 18 metres. Perfect for South Australia and many international destinations!

Theory is easily completed online, but you can also request face to face theory training for a small additional cost. (This will also add about a 1/2 day to the course).

Prerequisites

Participants must;

  • be at least 10 years of age (10-14 year old divers earn a “Junior Open Water Diver” certification)
  • review, complete and sign:
    • PADI Release of Liability/Assumption of Risk/Non-
      agency Acknowledgment Form
    • PADI Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of
      Understanding
    • PADI Medical Statement (RSTC Medical form)

For divers under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must review, complete and sign the above documentation.

  • Bathers
  • Towel
  • Drinks
  • Sunscreen for outdoor activities where applicable
