PLEASE NOTE: Any SCUBA activity occurring in the open sea is especially subject to weather conditions. Dives may be postponed at the Instructor’s discretion if conditions are unfavourable, e.g.;
- high winds
- large swell / waves
- strong currents
- poor visibility (especially from preceding weather events)
About the Refresher Course
The SCUBA Refresher course program is the perfect way to brush up on
your knowledge and skills from the PADI Open Water Diver
Course before jumping back into the water.
Consisting of some theory refreshing and open water dives, you can regain confidence and skills in an unpressured and individualised session.
This course is conducted over 2 to 3 hours at a dive site.
Prerequisites
Participants must;
- be “Open Water Diver” (or “Junior Open Water Diver” certified)
- review, complete and sign:
- PADI Release of Liability/Assumption of Risk/Non-
agency Acknowledgment Form - PADI Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of
Understanding - PADI Medical Statement (RSTC Medical form)
- PADI Release of Liability/Assumption of Risk/Non-
For divers under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must review, complete and sign the above documentation.
What you’ll need to bring
- Bathers
- Towel
- Drinks
- Sunscreen for outdoor activities where applicable
- Any SCUBA equipment you own (hire fees may apply for equipment)
